Not on My Faith! 

I know deep down in my spirit that faith requires for us to anchor onto and lean a bit closer into the word of the living God (James 4:8). For the Word of God declares that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). During specific times in our lives, there will be a knock, or even a nudge that will indicate a season of testing. The test is the spirit searching spirit asking, will you stretch your faith a bit more? (1 Cor 2:10-12).

This usually will take action on our part (James 2:26). We might begin by envisioning a new life, and dreaming (Colossians 3:10). We may find ourselves asking God for a will that we never thought we ourselves would even verbalize in a prayer (1 John 5:14-15). We will find that we will begin to pray for a future, and the resources to see it come to pass, when we never planned that kind of future in the first place (Proverbs 16:9). These are all moments of faith that will take us exactly where the Lord in His word said it would…. from faith to faith and glory to glory (Romans 1:17).
